We Love Our Pets!

In Santa Fe, the "City Different," we celebrate Fiesta de Santa Fe. The Desfile de los Ninos, or the Children's Pet Parade, is a celebration of pets, family and tradition. Kids, adults and animals parade through the city streets showcasing what they love. Viewers lined the streets this past weekend, and I was among them. The Santa Fe Animal Shelter showed us some of their adorable adoptees, encouraging people to always adopt. Fiesta de Santa Fe showcases the diversity of this city, and the Pet Parade is a part of that tradition, almost 100 years old! I loved seeing the kids, the dogs and the adults having fun and celebrating their pets.
